Which Kamrette camera bag is best for me?
The best camera bag depends on how much gear you carry and how you prefer to carry it. Professional photographers often choose the Lyra Backpack because it offers plenty of space for larger kits while distributing the weight comfortably across the back.
The Mina is a great choice for enthusiasts who do not need to carry a laptop, as well as professionals heading to smaller shoots with a more streamlined kit.
The Versa works well on its own for smaller, on-the-go shoots and travel, or as a useful addition to any of our larger bags when you need to keep an extra lens or utilise the built in camera strap.
If you need the capacity of the Lyra but prefer the look and carrying style of a handbag, the Avana is your best fit.
Which bag fits two camera bodies?
If you're carrying two camera bodies, you'll likely need room for a few lenses and accessories as well, so we recommend the Lyra Backpack for the extra space. If you prefer a handbag, the Avana is our next best option and our second-largest camera bag.
How many lenses fits in each bag?
In addition to your camera body, the Lyra Backpack fits around 3–4 lenses, the Avana Handbag 3–4 lenses, the Mina Backpack 2–3 lenses, and the Versa Crossbody 1–2 lenses. If you're not carrying a camera body, you may be able to fit more, depending on the size of your lenses.
Which camera bag fits a laptop?
The Lyra Backpack and Avana Handbag are our workhorse camera bags, with room for up to a 16-inch laptop. The Mina Backpack is more compact and does not fit a laptop, but it will comfortably accommodate an 11-inch iPad.
